A CNC machine shop in Bangna, Bangkok, grown out of a manufacturing plant
CPS Machining Thailand is the CNC machining unit of the CPS Manufacturer Group, which has made FUJIKA water pumps, water heaters, electric stoves and water filters for 30 years on Udomsuk Road, Bangna, Bangkok. Today we take outside milling and turning work with Makino and Mori Seiki machines and the group’s engineering team.
Where we come from
This factory has milled brass pump impellers and impeller covers on a Makino S33 in continuous lots for years. The engineers who run that work are the same team that designs and controls production across the CPS Manufacturer Group.
CPS Machining Thailand was set up to take outside milling and turning work with that capacity: the same machines, the same team, the same quality system. Now open to work from your factory.
How we differ from a typical job shop
We were the customer of machined parts before we were the supplier. Our engineers designed and built complete products, so they know how much it hurts when a part meets the drawing but will not assemble. We read a drawing as the person who has to fit that part next.
We are used to continuous lots and delivery dates. Production planning, lot control, incoming inspection and on-time delivery are processes audited by outside bodies under ISO 9000 — not a way of working we have to invent.
